CTET January 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For Primary Stage (Class I-V) Teachers:

  • Senior Secondary( or its original) with at least 50 marks and passed or appearing in the final time of 2- time Diploma in Elementary Education( by whatever name known) OR
  • Senior Secondary( or its original) with at least 45 marks and passed or appearing in the final time of 2- time Diploma in Elementary Education( by whatever name known), in agreement with the NCTE( Recognition morals and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR
  • Senior Secondary( or its original) with at least 50 marks and passed or appearing in the final time of 4- time Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary( or its original) with at least 50 marks and passed or appearing in the final time of 2- time Diploma in Education( Special Education) OR
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final time of 2- time Diploma in Elementary Education( by whatever name known).

For Elementary Stage (Class VI-VIII) Teachers:

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final time of 2- time Diploma in Elementary Education( by whatever name known) OR
  • Graduation with at least 50 marks and passed or appearing in 1- time Bachelor in Education(B.Ed) OR
  • Graduation with at least 45 marks and passed or appearing in 1- time Bachelor in Education(B.Ed), in agreement with the NCTE( Recognition morals and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • Senior Secondary( or its original) with at least 50 marks and passed or appearing in the final time of 4- time Bachelor in Elementary Education(B.El.Ed) OR
